I have received some questions about some of our experiences. They've wondered if some of the more colorful of our adventures actually happened the way I've portrayed them. How dare they! But wait, to be fair, I can understand how some of my readers, leading the sheltered lives that they have, might find some of our adventurers unbelievable.
Well, some of these doubters probably have no problem believing that today's movie heroes can fall 30 feet, get shot 20 times, be impaled with a six-foot long two-by-four - and still get up and run 2 miles to make passionate love with an impossibly beautiful and ridiculously over-endowed, puffy-lipped actress.
Those of us who have embarked on the exciting lifestyle of full-time RV'ng quickly learn the same lesson learned by our pioneer forebearers: "Stuff" happens and it happens more frequently and with more impact when you're RV'ng (or Conestoga wagonning... or whatever RV'ng was called back then).
To put it succinctly, everything I've written, or will write, happened exactly as portrayed... or as it would have happened... if it had happened... when it happened...
I hope that clears things up for some of you.
